ELEVEN YEARS OF TRUSTED SERVICE

Teresa is the president and owner of Gurl Friday Services-ATL, LLC.  Her company provides accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative services for businesses and organizations, both onsite and virtually.  Specifically, Gurl Friday handles accounts receivable, accounts payable, calendar maintenance, conference call set-up, corporate event coordination, expense reports, database management, file conversions, spreadsheets, transcriptions, word processing, mass mail merge documents and more.

 

Teresa got the idea to form the company when she noticed that many businesses were eliminating administrative and support personnel during the economic downturn. The inspiration for the name of the company came from the well-known Cary Grant movie. She realized the companies would still need these services provided, and forming this company was her solution to the problem.  That was five years ago.  In her first week she was successful in obtaining her first client, and within six months, she had five clients. Gurl Friday Services has clients in many industries and professions, including insurance, property management, software development, and law.

 

Teresa received a bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University in business administration with a minor in communication. She previously worked in the insurance industry, software development, and was with Pampered Chef as a director for several years.  She also worked as the COO of a company outside Washington, D.C.

 

In her spare time, Teresa serves as assistant treasurer of the Rotary Club of Marietta.  She also serves as Treasurer of the Marietta Touchdown Club. She enjoys attending Kennesaw State and Marietta High School sporting events. She enjoys trips to the mountains.  She is an active member of Roswell Street Baptist Church. Teresa married her Marietta High School sweetheart, Keith Jones, September of 2016.  Keith is the plant manager for American Formula in Atlanta.  Teresa and Keith have a blended family of four children, and two grandson.  They also have six fur babies.  Two dogs and four cats.

Manya is a 2015 graduate of Reinhardt University with a bachelors degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Accounting Assistant for multiple companies previously. She joined Gurl Friday in May of 2022, working with multiple clients both onsite and virtually.

Manya enjoys live music, traveling, antique shopping, and decorating her new home in Roswell. She lives with her husband and two sweet cats, Tony Cheese and Tortuga.
